Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Solar Production Monitoring Technician to join our team. This role involves monitoring and diagnosing performance issues in residential photovoltaic (PV) systems, ensuring optimal functionality and customer satisfaction.
Note: The work involves remote monitoring of solar systems, but the position itself is in-office on Oʻahu.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze PV performance in SolarEdge, Enphase, SunPower, Tesla, and Franklin portals.
Diagnose anomalies and coordinate with field teams for on-site fixes when needed.
Communicate directly with customers to provide updates, explain issues, and discuss solutions professionally.
Maintain accurate system records of performance, issues, and corrective actions.
Qualifications
Proven experience monitoring and diagnosing PV systems with SolarEdge, Enphase, SunPower, Tesla, and Franklin.
Strong understanding of solar energy systems and components.
Excellent written and verbal communication with a customer-centric approach.
Proficiency with PV monitoring software and related tools.
Ability to work independently in an office environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Requirements
Must reside on Oʻahu and commute to our Waipahu office five days/week.
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant solar/electrical certifications a plus.
Authorized to work in the U.S.
