Job Description:
- Direct day-to-day on-site operation to ensure the project is on schedule, built according to plans, and at the expected level of quality
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all parties involved in the project including the owner, architect, subcontractors, consultants and employees
- Contact, schedule, and coordinate all subcontractors, suppliers and utilities. Supervise their scope of work to ensure it conforms to specifications and is on schedule.
- Collaborate with General Contractor and Project Manager to procure all tools and materials necessary for the project
- Coordinate with General Contractor and Project Manager to develop project schedule
- Communicates with project team members to ensure all parties are informed of construction progress and RFI’s
- Develops a deep understanding of the plans and specifications
- Complete the daily log and upload progress photos into ProCore
- Maintain a safe and clean job site
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Superintendent preferred
- Understands building codes and can read blue prints accurately
- Proficient in Bluebeam Revu
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with others
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license
- Candidate must live on Kauai, off island candidates will not be considered
