Role Description
Join our dynamic team as an MSP Helpdesk Technician, and provide advanced technical support to our commercial clients on Hawaii-Island.

This is a hybrid (remote and on-prem) Tier I Information Systems Analyst role. You will be involved in day-to-day tasks such as providing Help Desk support, troubleshooting IT issues, conducting systems analysis, and utilizing analytical skills to ensure effective information technology operations.

Qualifications
- A strong understanding of:
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting.
- First Principles and fundamentals of analysis.
- Working independently.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with IT systems and network support.
- Relevant certifications in IT or related field.
Responsibilities:
- Handle routing or resolution of Tier 1 tickets including but not limited to:
- Network Issues / Outages
- Desktop Application Support
- PC/Mac/Linux Troubleshooting
- Backup and Disaster Recovery
- Maintenance and Deployments
- Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS
- Firewall Troubleshooting.
- Cyber threat analysis.
- Client communications and interactions.
- Detailed documentation.
Experience:
- 2+ years of commercial IT support experience.
- 2+ years of experience working with Windows Server OS, Active Directory/Group Policy/ DNS, Firewall config/troubleshooting, Switch config/troubleshooting (i.e. VLANs).
- 2+ years Help Desk Support.
- Knowledgeable in networking LAN/WAN concepts, structure, and equipment – understand VLANs, configuring switches
- Next gen firewall (NGFW) management
- MSP experience is a plus.
Education
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
Schedule
Part-time: Monday to Wednesday 8AM - 12PM (with opportunities for more shifts).
Requirements
- Working registered vehicle with clean driving abstract.
- Valid drivers license.
- Willing to consent to a federal background check and random drug testing.
- Currently a resident in the State of Hawaii.
