KW Systems is a locally grown and owned IT management, installation and repair company. We diagnose, repair and manage all types of computer systems, servers, networks, game systems, and more.
Role Description:
This is a part-time role (very possibly blossoming into full time) for an IT Technician. This Technician role is responsible for the maintenance and installation of networks, PC's, cameras, door access, server management, diagnosing and finding a resolution of uncommon issues.
Often times we will have to work hand in hand with our clients giving them a crash course on something or giving them more information on situation or installation.Being able to be confident but caring in conversations is an important skill.
Depending on your overall skill level is what dictates the pay for this position. We'll start at $18-$20 and go from there. If you have the skills we're hoping for you'll be able to get a bit more pretty quick.
Qualifications:
Proven experience working with various network technologies, locating issues problems and finding/implementing optimizations.
Experience with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other network protocols.
Must have an understanding HIPAA compliance ad we work hand in hand with doctors offices around the islands.
Strong ability to troubleshoot network and PC issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
Strong understanding of PC hardware, how it works, how it normally breaks.
Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other professionals in our own industry as well as other industries to resolve IT issues.
Must feel comfortable on ladders, we aren't on them often but it does happen and we don't ever want to ask anyone to do something they aren't comfortable with. Average heigh we work at is between 4-15 feet ceilings.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High School diploma or equivalent - One of the wonderful things about our industry is college is not required to be amazing at what we do.
Must be able to pass in house testing as we do need a way to measure your skill level but it will be fair and straight forward. Nothing to worry about.
