We are seeking an experienced and motivated Solar Tech to join our growing team. As a Solar Tech, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, commissioning, and ensuring the proper functioning of solar systems. You will also be tasked with handling utility applications and managing job closeouts to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
Key responsibilities: Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with solar systems to ensure optimal performance; Commissioning: Oversee the commissioning of solar systems, ensuring proper installation and compliance with industry standards; Utility Applications: Prepare, submit, and manage utility applications for solar installations, ensuring compliance with all utility company requirements; Job Closeouts: Complete job closeouts, including the preparation of necessary documentation and reporting, ensuring that all aspects of the project are finalized and compliant. Preferred Qualifications: Proven experience in solar system troubleshooting and commissioning, electrical experience (ex. wiring, AC/DC systems, electrical troubleshooting), knowledge of utility application processes and regulations, strong understanding of solar technology and system components, ability to work independently and in a team setting, excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, strong communication and customer service skills, a valid drivers license and reliable transportation, and experience with solar design software and/ or monitoring systems.
