The Job: Admin Employee for Growing Condominium Management Company

We are a small, developing condominium management company looking for a sharp, self-motivated Administrative Assistant to join our tight-knit team of fewer than five people. If you are good at management, we might put you to work helping manage a condominium and working with a Board of Directors. This is an exciting opportunity to grow with us, with future potential based on your skills and performance. This work is not for everyone. Do you have self-confidence but humility to work with all types of people?

What we would like to see in a new employee:

Computer Proficiency in Word and Excel: Must have experience with computers and know Office 365 programs-Not Apple

Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn new software, particularly for condominium management.

Answer phone, help with mailouts, stuff envelopes, put stamps, apply address labels, make copies - just office stuff.

Real Estate Knowledge (is a Bonus): Experience or familiarity with condominium management, board of directors’ meetings, and working with contractors in fields such as plumbing, painting, roofing, hot water systems, building repairs, and related construction areas is a strong plus. Construct letters to owners, contractors, etc. Do you know Robert's Rules of Order? Do you know what a Declaration, CC&R's or Bylaws are? What is a Tax Map Key? What is HRS514B that governs all condominiums? Real Estate license not required but we have a position for that work too.

Office Management Skills: Comfortable managing an office environment, including answering and routing phone calls from owners, tenants, escrow companies, contractors, attorneys, and others.

Sharp Intellect: Strong reading, writing, and organizational skills. Critical thinking skills, able to think on your feet, and ask questions when clarification is needed to get to a solution.

Team Player: No time for office politics. We need someone who works well with others to get the job done.

Self-Motivated Attitude & Quick Learner: Ability to take initiative and adapt to a fast-paced, growing environment once you know what is going on with the company philosophy to take us to the next level

Job Details:

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–3:30 PM (Flexible time leaving but need to be here by 8:30 am)

Pay: Normal admin pay is $17–$20/hour, depending on your skills- we talk. There is potential for growth based on performance.

Location: Downtown Honolulu

Start Date: Immediate
