Located in S. Kihei, we seek an exceptional customer-oriented, detailed-minded, self-starter to grow with our administrative team. We invite the right person to be part of our Wellness Ohana, whose purpose is to coordinate a healing environment supporting our clients and staff's wellness journeys.
As the first point of contact for our clients, we’re looking for an individual who is welcoming, well-spoken, full of Aloha, able to articulate our services and products clearly, and helps create lasting relationships with them. Excellent written and oral communication, initiative, time management, flexibility, and a friendly, positive attitude are essential to the success of this position.
About Us:
Founded in 2016, 808 Wellness is a family-owned business founded by Maui residents Alan and Sara Schroepfer, long-time healing arts and wellness professionals. Sharing a vision and a passion for spreading health and wellness to their community, they opened their doors in a joint venture that has included multiple locations, a yoga and event studio and is currently expanding their Wellness Spa to include additional wellness rooms and offerings. In addition to our Rainbow Mall location, we offer off-site locations in Makena and Kihei.
General duties include, but are not limited to:
Greet and assist clients. Schedule and confirm appointments. Payment of client services and purchases. Email management. Telephone communication. Room set-up. Opening/Closing duties. Closing Reports required. Light cleaning duties. Retail Product Knowledge.
Required Skills:
Spa experience is highly preferred but not required. Ability to work well on one's own and be a team player. Enjoys interaction with clients, both in-person and over the telephone, and setting a friendly, professional atmosphere. Drives Sales. Strong computer skills, including Word and Google Workspace. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple tasks. Ability to follow directions but also improvise when the situation arises. Hours and Compensation:
18+ hours minimum per week to start, 3 shifts minimum. Hourly pay ranges $18-$20 DOE to start. Two weeks of training pays $18/hour with up to a 3-month probationary period. Pay increases and additional hours are available depending on performance. Open seven days a week, including most holidays. Blackout dates over the holidays. Closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Weekend availability is required. After a 3-month probationary period, there is an opportunity to grow pay based on performance.
