Hawaii Management Solutions, a local business management company, is looking for a hard-working and motivated individual to join their team as a Social Media & Business Development Specialist. Being on time, reliable, hardworking and taking initiative is essential.

The Social Media & Business Development Specialist will serve as a liaison between our external marketing company and internal teams, create and track marketing campaigns, manage customer reviews, upsell services, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Job Functions

Social Media & Marketing

Content Creation & Strategy: Develop and implement social media strategies to drive brand awareness and lead generation. Craft engaging content and campaigns across platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.

Campaign Creation & Tracking: Plan, execute, and monitor both paid and organic campaigns. Track performance and provide data-driven insights for continuous improvement.

Liaison Role: Act as the primary contact between the external marketing company and in-house teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment between marketing initiatives and internal operations.

Customer Reviews: Monitor and manage online reviews, responding to feedback, and ensuring the company maintains a positive online reputation.

Quality Assurance: Collaborate with estimators and other internal teams to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality services.

Community Engagement: Engage with followers and respond to comments and messages, cultivating relationships that reflect our brand values.

Analytics & Reporting: Analyze social media performance and generate monthly reports, refining strategies based on data insights.

Business Development

Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and engage with potential customers through social media, email, and other outreach channels. Qualify leads and pass them on to the sales team.

Upselling: Identify opportunities to upsell additional services and solutions to current customers.

CRM Management: Record all customer interactions, leads, and follow-up activities in the CRM system to track progress and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

Collaboration: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation strategies and provide valuable insights from marketing campaigns.

Customer Engagement & Follow-Up: Maintain ongoing communication with customers throughout the project, keeping them informed at each stage. After project completion, follow up immediately to ensure satisfaction, and again at 60 days to address any further needs or concerns. Express appreciation by sending a personalized thank-you message to strengthen relationships and reinforce positive experiences.

Job Qualifications

High school Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s Degree a plus.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Self-motivated, results-driven, and a continuous learner.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Prior experience in sales or business development preferred.

Proven experience in social media marketing and/or business development.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with CRM systems and social media analytics tools.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

Creative, self-driven, and results-oriented.

Good computer skills, (i.e., MS Word, Excel, and Project).
