Job Summary:

Complies payroll data to maintain payroll records by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibility: Include the following, other duties may be assigned.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service.

o Addressing AOAO employees and management executive questions and concerns

o Respond and return timely phone calls, emails, and other inquiries.

Perform payroll operations/processing including but not limited to

o Processing Associations payroll weekly and following up the time sheet.

o Process off-cycle payroll checks and reissue new checks for direct deposit or payroll check return.

o Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports.

o Tracking PTO/Vacation/Sick Leave for AOAO which utilizes the Paycor PTO program after finishing the Bi-Weekly payroll run.

o Work with Payroll Manager for SUI Taxes Adjustment quarterly.

Meet deadlines and manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely for multiple AOAO payroll clients.

Update employees’ information in the payroll system: Direct Deposit/Pay Rate/Position Change/Employee Federal & State withholding Taxes.

Process and calculate correct child support order and garnishment payments and compliance.

Provide and assist with reporting and data requests associated with internal/external auditors.

Provide employees pay rate information to Management Executive for AOAO budgeting.

Assist payroll team associates with payroll processing and payroll office duties as assigned and as necessary.

Works and communicates with HR/Benefits department concerning employee data information on new hires, termination, deductions, TDI, Workers' Compensation, and any other HR/Benefits Schedule meeting.

Arrange payroll funding uploads to CPB after payroll processing and bank reconciliation for AOAO bank trust account weekly.

Assist Payroll Manager for AOAO termination project as needed.

Assist Payroll Manager preparing monthly GL mapping file, payroll monthly service fee and payroll charge back fee.

Monitor and update stale date check file for uncashed check more than six months.

Conducts payroll orientation to Association Managers regarding payroll procedures and policies on payroll schedule.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Basic knowledge of payroll processes and procedures, understanding basic payroll laws and IRS Regulations

Proficiency in using payroll software and systems.

Experience using Microsoft Applications (i.e. Excel, word, and Windows) and Bluebeam

Familiarity with human resources practices and policies

Excellent organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail, take initiative, accuracy in data entry, and the ability to work independently.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

At least two years’ related experience required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
