Job Summary
Pohaku Pelemaka is looking for a competent Program Technician (PT) to undertake a variety of administrative and program management tasks. This position will help in planning and organizing programs and activities as well as carry out important operational duties. The PT will work directly with the Executive Director (ED) and Program Coordinator (PC) on various operational tasks.
This position must be a person who is a lineal descendant of the Puna Makai area. They must be well-versed with the ʻohana along the coastline and be willing to communicate with them. This position also requires someone who is culturally sensitive and grounded to the kanaka maoli lifestyles, practices and beliefs.
This person should also be willing and able to learn AI (Artificial Intelligence) platforms and be able to articulate how to use regenerative AI.
