Facilities/Grounds Maintenance Job Description
We seek a highly organized and motivated Facilities/Grounds Maintenance person to support our Facilities/Grounds Maintenance staff. This role involves various tasks under the guidance of the Facilities Supervisor, including:
Cleaning Restrooms
Daily - Toilets and urinals; add hand soap, toilet paper, and multi-fold hand towels; clean stainless steel; change waste receptacle liners; and sweep floors.
Weekly: Mop floors and clean showers.
Monthly: Change urinal screens.
Clean Classrooms and Admin Building
Daily - Empty trash cans.
Weekly - Sweep and mop floors.
Various other assigned tasks.
Qualifications:
Collaborative team player
Positive “can-do” attitude
Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 20 pounds
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
Strong attention to detail
