The Food Basket, Hawaii Island's Food Bank seeks an enthusiastic and personable Customer Relations Specialist to join our team.
Primary responsibilities include, acting as the key public engagement staff with the public and partner agencies; ensuring safe, sanitary and efficient receiving, storage and delivery of food and non-food items as well as assisting in the accounting for products, donations, restocking goods and helping the receiving department with incoming donations. Knowledge in basic computer skills. The person in this position will follow all jobs instructions given by supervisor. The person in this position will also be responsible for creating a customer-service oriented atmosphere in the public areas. Starting pay $18.00 per hour. May become full-time after probation.
