Purpose:

Aldridge Pite, LLP is looking for either an Associate Attorney or a Senior Associate Attorney to practice out of the firm’s Honolulu office. This position is eligible for remote or hybrid status, but working in the office may be required for the first 90 days of employment. The Senior Associate Attorney will manage cases with an emphasis on residential real estate litigation, mortgage and transactional matters and protect the client's interest in litigation proceedings and general collection cases. The primary focus will be judicial foreclosure actions.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage complex cases from inception to completion

Prepare analysis of case and advise client regarding strategies

Draft court pleadings, defense of motions, and handle heavily contested matters

Attend court hearings, contested motions, and conduct trials, both telephonic and in person

Other duties and special projects as needed

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree

Juris Doctor from accredited law school

At least five years of experience in the practice of real estate or mortgage law

Admission to practice law in the state of Hawaii

Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Must have the ability to interpret client systems

Must be proficient in software tools including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet

Ability to manage and prioritize large and complex caseloads
