Position: PM Kitchen Steward
Type: Full Time
Shifts available: 2:00pm-10:00pm
Location: Kailua Kona, Hawaii
Performs general or specialized cleaning and other miscellaneous tasks, including transferring food items and required dishes to banquet and luau areas and guest’s plates.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
-Assist other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.
-Assists with proper food storage and rotation.
-Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
-Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor always, while providing personalized service to hotel guests.
-Perform other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management.
-Performs routine tasks under little or no direct supervision.
-Responsible for all activities pertaining to cleaning and maintaining the food & beverage storage, preparation and service areas and materials and ensures sanitary condition of all china, glassware, silverware, and cookware and serving utensils.
-Transfers food items and required dishes to banquet and luau areas and guest plates.
Qualifications:
-Ability to work independently and with a team.
-Ability to work flexible hours when needed including early or late start, weekends, and holidays.
-Efficient communication skills
-TB Clearance
WORKING CONDITIONS
Restaurant and kitchen facilities. Access to entire exterior and interior of property.
