Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating all maintenance activities within our community, ensuring the highest standards of upkeep and safety are consistently met.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead a team of maintenance staff to execute daily tasks efficiently and effectively.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on community facilities, equipment, and grounds.
Conduct regular inspections of common areas, amenities, and infrastructure to identify maintenance needs and address any issues promptly.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair projects.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to prolong the lifespan of assets and minimize unexpected failures.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and expenditures.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and address concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a maintenance supervisory role, preferably within a property management setting.
Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance techniques
Proficiency in using hand and power tools
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members, residents, and vendors.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Good communication and customer service skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
High school diploma or equivalent
· Must be able to start work on Maui immediately.
· Technical or vocational training is a plus.
Employment is contingent on passing a Pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.
