We are in need to hire an expeditor/ delivery driver. The Expeditor should be a well-organized problem solver٫ able to multitask and possess great communication skills. Duties will include monitoring the construction sites and jobs and organizing an adequate and timely flow of materials and equipment for them.
Construction Expeditor responsibilities are:
Detect supply needs using technical details and schedules.
Fulfill the orders of material and equipment to meet project requirements.
Organize the delivery of supplies according to priorities and specifications.
Detect and troubleshoot issues with delivery of orders.
Monitor orders upon arrival to ensure the correct quality and quantity.
Supervise inventory of supplies for different jobs or sites.
Manage orders aiming for timely delivery and competitive price.
Organize the movement of material between locations.
Build good relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Create and manage accurate records of your activities.
Help with cleaning the job sites as needed.
Keep the warehouse clean and always organized.
Construction Expeditor requirements are:
2+ years' experience of working on a Construction Expeditor or other similar position helpful
Significant experience of analyzing and following technical specifications of material and equipment.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with multi-tasking abilities.
High school diploma; additional certification will be a bonus.
