Aloha, we seek a laborer/apprentice for our local wood cabinet shop on the Big Island of Hawaii to join our team.
As a Laborer/Apprentice, you will support various wood shop projects and team members. You must be a reliable, hard worker with a can-do attitude, able to follow directions from co-workers and a desire to take advantage of the many training opportunities we offer for your career advancement.
Duties
- Perform general labor tasks daily, such as cleaning, running errands, loading and unloading
- Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Material/supply purchases and delivery
- Follow instructions from supervisor and co-workers
- Assist as necessary with projects and the setup of the shop
- Assist in keeping inventory of equipment and tools
- Support skilled tradespeople as needed, willing to pitch in with what is needed
- Always follow safety guidelines and protocols
Required Skills:
- Physical stamina and strength to handle manual labor tasks
- Ability to keep a typical work schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Be self-motivated and good at finding essential tasks on your own
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Must have Current Valid Hawaii Driver's License with dependable daily transportation.

This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.—3:30 p.m., with the occasional opportunity for overtime. The pay range is $22 to $30, depending on your experience. We offer excellent employee benefits, including ten paid holidays yearly, health insurance, a 401 (k), and more.
