Connections PCS is seeking an experienced individual to fill the role of Agricultural Research Aid. Full time position, 40 hours a week. This position includes benefits such as medical/dental/vision options, retirement, paid vacation and sick leave.
Job Description:
Assists with tasks such as harvesting or collecting, measuring, weighing, counting and recording of data on crips or animals.
Assists in the observation of proper flow and amount of irrigation water, sifting and mixing of potting material, and the potting and labeling of seedlings.
May operate light power equipment.
Digs postholes and replaces fencing; assists in assembling or storing tools and supplies; disinfects, cleans, sharpens and otherwise assists in maintaining tools and equipment.
Able to follow oral and written instructions; use standard farm tools and equipment; perform manual and repetitive work; make simple observations and record data accurately; summarize numerical data and perform standard computations.
