Current Hawaii Physical Therapy Assistant License is required. 1 year outpatient orthopedic experience is preferred, but new grads and PTA's looking to change to the orthopedic setting are welcome to join our team, and start your orthopedic PT career here!
Physical Therapist Assistant responsibilities
Communicate and coordinate with physical therapist to ensure a consistent level of care
Effectively communicate and coordinate with patients and caregiver to ensure that their problems, concerns, and goals are addressed
Educate and supervise patients' physical therapy program
Execute physical therapy treatment program
Complete Daily SOAP notes
Record and document effectively on EMR
Assist administrative staff, answer phones, maintain cleanliness of clinic
Comply with federal and state physical therapy regulations
Complete at least 30 hours of continuing education every two years
