We are an optometry practice looking for a FULL-TIME OPTOMETRY ASSISTANT staff member to join our healthcare team!
The duties of this OPTOMETRY ASSISTANT position include a combination of administrative and clinical tasks.
Administrative responsibilities consist of greeting and interviewing patients as they arrive, updating patients' electronic medical records.
Clinical responsibilities include recording vital signs, explaining testing procedures, and administering preliminary visual testing to patients.
Experience is not needed
on-the-job training is provided.
Must-have requirements:
Strong customer service skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Good multitasking capabilities
Computer proficiency
