One Kalakaua Senior Living Association is seeking qualified Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse (RN/LPN) for a Staff Nurse position for home care in an assisted living/retirement community. Duties for Staff Nurse include emergency response, clinical care management, assessments and some medication/treatment administration.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Current RN or LPN license registered in the State of Hawaii. Must be CPR, First Aid certified and able to obtain TB clearance. Minimum of 2 years' paid work experience as a licensed nurse preferred. Prior geriatric/home health experience preferred.
SKILLS: Must have good assessment and documentation skills and demonstrate understanding, patience, tact and courtesy in dealing with elderly residents, family, visitors and co-workers. Ability to cooperate with other health professionals and to coordinate efforts toward maximum resident care. Ability to recognize and solve problems and make appropriate decisions. Demonstrates proper nursing skills/techniques and infection control measures.
