A small, 4 operatory, family-owned practice in the Kahala Professional Building is seeking a full-time or part-time Dental Hygienist to assist in patient care and promote excellent oral health practices.
Hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with 1 hour lunch and half day Saturday's 8:00-12:00pm. Flexible scheduling available to accommodate your availability.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure patient comfort prior to examinations
- Sterilize dental instruments effectively
- Conduct initial screenings and review oral health history
- Identify conditions such as gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis
- Clean and protect patients' teeth (e.g., plaque removal, fluoride application)
- Take digital X-rays
- Maintain documentation and Dentrix charts for each patient
