Ulupalakua Ranch is actively recruiting for the position of Head Chef to grow our kitchen operations within our Ranch Store and Grill facility. In conjunction with other stakeholders the Head Chef will be expected to lead and drive the development of the Ranch Grill menu and capabilities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage Ulupalakua Ranch Grill and provide support for events on the Ranch.
- Collaboration with the Ulupalakua Store Manager to develop our weekly specials and our Grill menu.
- Effectively manage the ordering, delivery and inventory of all Grill produce and products.
- Provide leadership and upskilling for other grill staff.
- Maintain and healthy and safe workplace.
Qualification
- Minimum 10 years work experience as a lead cook or chef, culinary education can count towards this.
- Current and valid ServSafe Food Handler qualification
- High school degree or equivalent education
