We’re hiring a Shift Lead / Assistant Manager to help run the show on our busy food truck! This role is perfect for someone who’s confident on the line, loves supporting a team, and is ready to take the next step into leadership.
You’ll be the go-to person during shifts—leading by example, managing the team, and making sure things run smoothly no matter what the day throws at us. You’ll also help with scheduling, tracking tips, and stepping in to cover shifts when needed.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Leading shifts and supporting the team on all stations (line, barista, register, etc.)
Lifting up team morale and helping everyone move with speed and efficiency
Handling customer issues and defusing team conflicts with professionalism and care
Finding shift coverage or stepping in when someone calls out
Making the weekly schedule and calculating tip payouts
Communicating with the owners and helping ensure daily goals are met

What We’re Looking For:
Experience in food service and confidence working all stations
A natural leader who leads with clarity, kindness, and accountability
Strong communication skills—you know how to give direction and listen
Calm under pressure and great at solving problems in real time
Organized and detail-oriented with a good eye on the bigger picture
Willingness to work early mornings (most shifts run 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM)
