We are a new restaurant opening in Ward Village! We are seeking a dedicated and passionate server to join our team! The ideal candidate will demonstrate the spirit of hospitality and provide outstanding customer service to our guests. As a server, your role is to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, deliver food and beverages with efficiency, maintain sophistification and professional demeanor, and ensure our guests leave with smiles and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests promptly, providing answers to inquiries about menu, allergies, daily specials, etc.
Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to the table while maintaining high standards of presentation with the assistance of the delivery robot.
Observe guest needs throughout their dining experience, responding promptly to requests.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, service stations, restrooms, etc.
Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for special events or busy shifts.
Cooperate with kitchen & host staff to ensure accurate food preparation and adherence to food safety standards.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
Adept at communicating efficiently with managers, team members, and guests in a proper manner.
Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately.
Experience:
Previous experience as a server in a restaurant, bar, or similar environment is preferred but not required.
Understanding kitchen prep, food preparation techniques, food safety practices, cash handling, and host task is preferred but not required.
Experience in using Opentable or Clover is preferred but not required.
A positive attitude, mindset, and commitment to providing exceptional customer service are essential for success in a role as a server.
