Bringing World-Class Yakitori to Hawai‘i’s Future

After 20 successful years in New York and earned a Michelin star for seven consecutive years, Torishin will mark a new milestone in Fall 2025 with its opening on O‘ahu, Hawai‘i. (in Ward Village Ae'o)

But this is more than just expanding locations. Our goal is to share the excellence of Japanese yakitori culture globally while contributing to the richness and diversity of Hawai‘i’s culinary landscape.

Torishin redefined yakitori in the U.S. by introducing the meticulously crafted “omakase course”—a style that elevates technique and hospitality into an unforgettable dining experience. Now, as we enter this vibrant new chapter, we are seeking founding team members to help shape the future of yakitori in Hawai‘i.

Whether you're experienced or new to the craft, we welcome individuals who are eager to learn the real art of yakitori, build meaningful skills, and develop a career to be proud of.

Working at Torishin is not just a job—it’s a challenge to master techniques and values that resonate across cultures, and to forge your own path forward.

At Torishin Hawai‘i, we’re seeking passionate individuals who take pride in their craft and thrive in a collaborative team environment. Whether you're a professional looking to hone your skills further, or someone aspiring to learn from the ground up and become a top-tier chef—we offer a space where learning is constant and opportunities for growth are real.

We believe in nurturing both individual talent and collective success. Join us, and take the next step in a career built on tradition, innovation, and the pursuit of excellence.
