The groundskeeper will be responsible for maintaining property garden and lawns, including mowing, trimming, pruning, raking, weeding and assisting with outdoor lighting and sprinkler systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The functions and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Follow safety procedures and programs.
Maintain inventory of supplies.
Mowing, edging and fertilizing lawns.
Weeding and mulching landscape beds.
Trimming and planting small trees, hedges, and shrubs.
Removing unwanted, dead, or damaged plants and small trees.
Watering gardens and lawns.
Monitoring and maintaining plant health.
Basic knowledge of irrigation and drip lines
Responsible for the safe use and operation of all tools and materials associated with the tasks related to this position.
Communicate with the general manager about needs and concerns.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Any combination of formal education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties satisfactorily is acceptable. A high school diploma or the equivalent is preferred.
