Wolfgang Steakhouse on Maui at The Shops at Wailea, is looking for a Kitchen Managers to join the team.
Duties:
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food production, banquet services, catering, and bartending.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of the hotel and its guests.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and monitor food costs to maximize profitability.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques or ingredients into menu offerings.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel or catering setting.
- Strong knowledge of food production techniques, banquet services, bartending, and coffee preparation.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality food and service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
