As a Breakfast Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests start their day with delicious and satisfying meals. Your responsibilities will include preparing and cooking breakfast items according to menu specifications, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, and collaborating with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional service to our guests. Starting pay is determined by experience and completion of probationary period. Daily tips are not included in listed hourly rate. Tips will range from $50-85/Day depending on sales.
Responsibilities:
Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items such as all types of eggs, bacon, sausage, and breakfast potatoes according to established recipes and quality standards.
Menu Execution: Ensure that all breakfast items are prepared and presented in a timely manner, following menu specifications and guest preferences.
Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, freshness, and presentation. Conduct regular checks on ingredients and finished products to ensure adherence to food safety regulations.
Kitchen Organization: Keep the breakfast station clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout the shift. Properly label and store all food items to prevent spoilage and ensure food safety.
Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff members to coordinate food preparation and ensure smooth operations during peak breakfast hours. Communicate effectively with servers and other team members to fulfill guest orders promptly.
Equipment Maintenance: Handle kitchen equipment safely and responsibly. Report any malfunctioning equipment to the appropriate personnel and assist with routine maintenance tasks as needed.
Adherence to Procedures: Follow standard operating procedures for food handling, storage, and sanitation. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
Customer Service: Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any special requests or dietary restrictions. Strive to exceed guest expectations by delivering exceptional service and culinary experiences.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a breakfast cook.
Knowledge of breakfast food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask effectively.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Flexibility to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
Stamina to withstand high temperatures and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
