Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of seafood and other dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure that all food products are handled, stored, and prepared safely and in compliance with food safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including equipment, workstations, and storage areas.
Collaborate with kitchen team members to coordinate food preparation and ensure timely service during busy periods.
Assist in receiving and storing deliveries of food and supplies, and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages.
Follow instructions from kitchen management and contribute ideas for menu development and improvement.
Uphold The Dolphin's commitment to excellence in food quality, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Cook in a restaurant or culinary environment.
Knowledge of seafood preparation techniques and familiarity with a variety of cooking methods.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality dishes.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
