Vegetate is a new, plant-based, 5 star restaurant in Wailua and we are hiring for a full or part-time back of house team player. Responsibilities include:
Prepare recipes to ensure consistency and quality.
Cook menu items efficiently on the line during service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station
Work closely with the kitchen and front of house team to ensure smooth service, communicating effectively during peak times.
Provide assistance to other team members when needed and help promote a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Assist with inventory management, minimizing waste and ensuring proper storage of ingredients.
Follow all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
You are a morning person and available on the weekends
Desire to be a part of a new and exciting business that supports healthy food options and food sovereignty
Previous kitchen experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
Strong work ethic and passion for the culinary arts.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Team player with strong communication skills.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Hours: 6:00-2:00 and/or 7:30-3
Pay is competitive
