Sr. Internal Auditor

Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Sr. Internal Auditor in HONOLULU, Hawaii. The selected candidate will be involved in a variety of tasks across the financial, operational, IT general control, and compliance sectors of our industry. Preference will be given to applicants currently residing in Hawaii due to the nature of the job requirements.Responsibilities: Facilitate and oversee the planning, execution, and conduction of internal audits across various business sectors. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to achieve audit objectives. Ensure effective communication of audit results to management. Lead and supervise the independent testing of internal controls. Conduct audit planning, process walkthroughs, and test procedures to evaluate the operational effectiveness of internal controls. Analyze and appraise the adequacy of the overall control environment, governance framework, and risk mitigation practices. Maintain comprehensive documentation of audit results. Provide mentorship and guidance to audit staff members. Utilize various software including Microsoft Office, CRM, and other business and audit systems for audit processes.Requirements Applicant must hold a minimum of 7 years of experience in the role of an Internal Auditor or similar. Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems is required. Experience in developing and implementing Audit Programs is necessary. Familiarity with Business systems and CRM platforms is expected. Strong understanding of Accounting Functions is essential. Prior experience in presenting to Audit Committees is preferred. Ability to document and present detailed Audit Findings is a must. Candidate should possess broad knowledge and skills in Auditing procedures and practices. Experience in formulating and executing Audit Plans is crucial.
