Prince Dance Institute is accepting resumes from qualified performing arts instructors in the fields of dance, voice, music, and acting for our summer camps.
The ideal teacher believes in and is passionate about their artistic craft and the mission of Prince Dance Institute, fosters a safe and nurturing learning environment and is responsible, punctual, and organized.
The PDI summer camps will run the months of June and July during the day. We are looking for energetic, organized, and skill teachers to pass their enthusiasm and knowledge of their craft onto our students.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Establish an environment where students are excited about learning.
Create and follow class curriculum for summer camps.
Teach classes at different levels and ages (e.g., beginners and advanced)
Manage classroom activities such as arrival, attendance, transitions, dismissal.
Evaluate students’ progress and skills; make recommendations and provide feedback for improvement.
Work with school management team, other teachers, staffs, parents, or students to improve quality, resolve issues, and always maintain a safe and fun learning environment.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of performing art technique, terminology, and repertoire.
Proven experience as a teacher in your field of performing art.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and inspire students of all ages and skill levels.
Patient, enthusiastic, and passionate about teaching.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Certification or relevant degree preferred, but not required.
