We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher for the secondary education level to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a valid special education teaching license and demonstrate a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and adhere to individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Utilize differentiation strategies to meet diverse learning needs and ensure all students can access the curriculum.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to provide necessary accommodations and modifications.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student progress and IEP goals.
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher License for secondary education.
- Strong knowledge of differentiation strategies and accommodations.
- Familiarity with individual education plans (IEPs) and special education regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
