Job Summary
Parts Center Hawaii, NAPA Auto Parts store in Kailua-Kona is looking to add to their Parts Counter Person staff. Experience in automotive parts sales is a plus. Excellent benefits include, medical/dental insurance, 401(K) and more for qualified employees.

Responsibilities includes, but not limited to:
Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
Communicate with customer on parts status
Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing a high level of service to internal and external customers
Be able to read and understand the parts catalog when looking up parts
Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information
Reviews Body Shop estimates to be sure that the parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate
Pulls and fills orders from stock
Notifies the Store Manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention
Locates out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits and emergency order, if necessary
Makes sure that all internal requests for parts are billed on the service repair order
Receives payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization
Sets up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick up
Qualifications:
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Must be able to speak English
Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment
Must have strong organizational and time management skills
Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Must be able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
