Aloha Termite and Pest Control is a local full-service Pest Control Company. We have proudly serviced the Hawaiian Islands for 25 years. Our company is growing and our Kailua Kona office on Hawaii Island is currently looking for a Lead Laborer for our Fumigation Department.
Position Overview:
LEAD / FOREMAN- FUMIGATION
Lead a fumigation crew to ensure safe and efficient set up and breakdown of job sites
Supervise workload and assign duties as required
Ensure work is performed to standards and project specifications.
Communicate with Manager about scope changes, material, and labor needs.
Ensure that all proper safety equipment, materials, and tools are on site to perform the required work and worn according to all OSHA, FDA, EPA, FIFRA, HDOA safety rules and regulations
Hiring Requirements:
Must have 1 year of verifiable experience as a Junior Foreman or Lead.
Must possess Hawaii Driver’s License and have clean driving record
Knowledge of PPE equipment, Safety and Hazmat
Must have Pest Control Industry Knowledge
Ability to read and comprehend label SDS instructions & correspondence
Must be a self-starter and have the ability with little to no oversight at times to lead a team with diverse skill sets.
Must pass drug test and criminal background
Must be on island and able to commute to Kailua Kona
Ability to lift and carry heavy materials up to 200 lbs +/-
Ability to climb ladders, balance, lift, stand, and walk on roofs for long periods of time
Availability to be flexible when needed- working late evenings and Saturdays.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Additional Details
Work Schedule: Monday - Saturday 7:00 am - 6:00 pm or later
Compensation: $26.00-$36.00 Hrly – Pay is negotiable, based on experience and qualifications
