About the Role:
We seek a passionate and experienced Deckhand to join our team for thrilling Manta Ray Night Snorkel trips from Honokohau Small Boat Harbor. As a Deckhand, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our guests while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
Assisting guests with boarding and disembarking the vessel
Setting up and maintaining snorkeling equipment
Guiding guests in and out of the water
Monitoring guest safety during snorkeling activities
Providing basic snorkeling instruction and safety briefings
Assisting with cleaning and maintaining the vessel and equipment
Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures
Qualifications:
Experience as a Deckhand or in a similar role
Strong swimming skills and comfort in the water
Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Passion for marine life and the ocean environment
