Description REVENUE ACCOUNTING MANAGER - International SaaS Company in AtlantaMy client, an international SaaS/Technology company in Gwinnett County, is searching for a Revenue Accounting Manager to join their team for an immediate, direct-hire opportunity. The Revenue Accounting Manager will play a vital role in the North America Finance Operations Team. This hybrid position involves managing a team of General Ledger Accountants with a specific focus on revenue accounting. You will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of operational accounting, ensuring a smooth period close and reporting process. In this role, the Revenue Accounting Manager will implement improvement initiatives to validate and enhance balance sheet accounts and begin reviewing contracts and agreements related to Independent Software Vendors.Key Responsibilities:
Deliver accurate and timely financial reports for revenue-related accounts and provide insights to stakeholders.
Ensure successful completion of external audits with no material adjustments and support internal audits.
Collaborate with internal partners, offering guidance on accounting principles while maintaining strong relationships.
Oversee the General Ledger Accountants' focus on balance sheets, risk controls, revenue, royalties, and contract reviews.
Ensure compliance with IFRS standards (IFRS 15 & 9) and make informed judgments on technical accounting matters.
Manage the timely completion of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial trend analyses.
Foster a service-oriented culture within the Revenue Accounting team while building relationships across Finance and other departments.
Drive continuous improvement in processes, streamline operations, and ensure adherence to company's internal controls and governance.
Develop work plans, set KPIs, prioritize team tasks, and provide coaching and development opportunities aligned with company values.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or other business-related field of study required.
Masters or post-graduate degree highly preferred.
CPA certification is required.
Background in audit is essential.
Strong technical accounting skills with a proven track record of driving change and continuous improvement.
Experience in building stakeholder relationships across all organizational levels.
Established leadership and management skills with 5+ years of relevant experience.
