Responsibilities – Automotive Service Technician:
Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of vehicle system including engines, transmission, HVAC, electrical, and drivability issues
Utilize factory scan tools and diagnostic equipment to acurately identify vehicle concerns
Independently complete complex repair orders efficiently and accurately with minimal supervision
Conduct comprehensive multi-point inspections and clearly communicate findings and repair recommendations
Collaborate with service advisors and parts departments to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction
Stay current with manufacturer updates, TSBs, and continuing education/certification programs
Maintain high standards for cleanliness, organization, and safety in the shop
Mentor junior technicians and help foster a team-oriented work environment
Follow all manufacturer guidelines and safety regulations, including proper hazardous material handling
Qualifications – Automotive Service Technician:
2+ years of hands-on experience as a professional automotive technician; B or A-level experience strongly preferred
Manufacturer certifications or ASE certifications highly preferred
Experience with Nissan, Toyota, or Hyundai vehicles is a big plus
Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues independently
Proficient with OEM diagnostic systems and service software
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
Positive attitude and strong communication skills; values collaboration and mentoring
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
High school diploma or GED equivalent; trade school certification or associate degree in automotive technology is a plus
