Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant to maintain our short-term rental properties to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. You will play a key role in ensuring that our guest rooms and shared spaces are spotless and well-maintained, with a focus on delivering a top-tier guest experience. This role includes managing laundry services, cleaning, and reporting any issues that require attention.

Responsibilities

- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure a welcoming, hygienic environment.

- Handle laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and restocking linens and towels for guest use.

- Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment safely and efficiently, following all health and safety guidelines.

- Conduct routine floor care tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces.

- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to management for prompt resolution.

- Monitor and manage cleaning supply and linen inventories, notifying management when stock levels are low.

- Ensure housekeeping standards are upheld by following established cleaning protocols and organizational methods.

- Respond to guest requests promptly and provide friendly, professional customer service.

Requirements

- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in janitorial or housekeeping roles (hospitality experience preferred).

- Must have reliable transportation.

- Must live within a 25-mile radius of the office for quick and easy commuting.

- Familiarity with floor care techniques and industrial cleaning practices is an advantage.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.

- Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively.

- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and coworkers.

- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
