TOP PAY FOR TOP PERFORMERS We are looking for an efficient and detail-oriented Fast Food Fry Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team at Bernie's Oyster House Located at 13 Tybrisa St, Tybee Island, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of fried foods, ensuring high standards of quality and consistency while operating in a fast-paced environment.
Set up and operate fryers, ensuring equipment is functioning correctly and safely.
Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, maintaining quality and consistency.
Monitor food temperatures and cooking times to ensure optimal flavor and safety.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including fryers and cooking stations.
Assist in training new kitchen staff on frying techniques and safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations, including proper handling and storage of ingredients.
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1+ years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
Preferred:
Experience specifically in fast food or quick-service restaurants.
Food safety certification or training.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies.
Proficiency in operating cooking equipment, including fryers, grills, and ovens.
