Job Description:
As a Barista at Refresh Nutrition, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for delivering an exceptional drink experience to our valued customers. While prior beverage creation or customer service experience is preferred, it is not required – we value great work ethic, enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service, ensuring each interaction leaves a positive impression.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages with attention to detail and consistency.
- Take initiative to engage with customers, offering recommendations and upselling additional items when appropriate.
- Demonstrate the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Complete daily side tasks to maintain cleanliness and organization.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and supporting fellow team members.
- Greet customers in a friendly manner & take orders.
- Answering customers’ questions about menu choices.
- Taking payments from customers through the POS system (Clover).
- Responding to and resolving customer questions and complaints.
- Stock work area with product.
Requirements:
- Passion for health/nutrition and commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail to manage specific customer requests as well as produce products with minimal errors.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to take initiative and go above and beyond to exceed customer expectations.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, with a preference for morning & lunch time availability.
- Strong teamwork abilities to work efficiently alone and with other Baristas
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not required.
