Maintenance Supervisor

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARYSupervise the daily operations of the maintenance technician workforce in repairing, maintaining, cleaning, troubleshooting, and installing all equipment in the facility.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential Job Functions)The duties and responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following: Supervision of maintenance technicians.Coordinate with maintenance planner and production to develop work schedules.Manage scheduling and approving pay using software application tool, verbal communication, and/or physical. posting. Schedule overtime and vacations.SAFETY: LOTO, QEW, Confined Space entry, Emergency Response, and general safety practices.Ensuring compliance with all applicable rules and regulations.Training and development of maintenance technicians.Completing performance review of direct reports. Issuing disciplinary action for attendance and performance issues.Responsible for KPIs related to maintenance department.Implementation of projects for improvements and changes.Participation in the recruitment and onboarding of new hires.Monitoring all processes for optimal performance and reacting to deficiencies.Troubleshooting abnormal conditional of all equipment in the facility.Participation in the development of SOPs and other training and instructional documentation.Ordering parts, tools, chemicals, and lubricants.Performs other duties and responsibilities, as necessary.
