Finishing Operator - 3rd shift

As a Finishing Operator, you may be responsible for functions occurring within the Finishing operations that include packing, core cutting, and material handling, operating a slitter, or floating between any of these listed positions.Order and verify materials per orderRun orders per product specifications and standard practices.Perform routine set-up and changeover of the machineAccurately capture and record necessary operating data, including downtime causes and performance-to-plan.Inspect the general appearance of the finished productLabel and package finished goods for shipment per customer specifications, quality requirements, and standard practicesKeep the area supplied with necessary packaging materialsMaintain a clean, safe work areaPerform 5S duties and auditsAssist in equipment maintenance activities as directedCommunicate and coordinate necessary information to appropriate shift/department personnel to ensure effective operationsFollow all appropriate procedures for the accumulation, labeling, solid waste compacting, on-site transportation, storage, and inspection of materials designated as hazardous waste per Environmental Control Instructions
