They pride ourselves on their commitment to excellence, collaboration, and providing a supportive work environment for our team.Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our team on a permanent basis. This position offers a primarily remote work environment with occasional in-office requirements. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of litigation experience, with a preference for experience in construction, environmental, and real estate law. Proficiency in e-filing using PeachCourt and Odyssey is required. The candidate must be well-organized, proactive, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced legal environment.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and factual investigations to support litigation matters.
Assist attorneys with case management throughout all stages of litigation.
Prepare, organize, and electronically file pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents using PeachCourt and Odyssey.
Manage and maintain case files, databases, and document management systems.
Coordinate and schedule court dates, hearings, depositions, client meetings, and attorney calendars.
Assist in trial preparation, including preparing exhibits, witness lists, and case summaries.
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional manner.
Perform administrative tasks as needed, including data entry and maintaining case-related documentation.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate (preferred but not required with relevant experience).
Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal or Legal Assistant.
Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and court filing systems.
Proficiency in e-filing using PeachCourt and Odyssey.
Experience with construction, environmental, or real estate law is highly preferred.
Excellent organizational, research, and analytical skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal case management software.
Willingness and ability to work overtime when necessary.
