About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our property management team on our maintenance staff for the assets in our portfolio. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the property and its residences are maintained to the highest standard, while also providing exceptional service to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular checks on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. Address minor issues and suggest solutions for larger concerns.
Repair Work: Handle maintenance requests promptly, ranging from plumbing to electrical and structural issues.
Unit Turnover: Prep units for new tenants – painting, carpet cleaning, appliance checks, and more.
Grounds Keeping: Ensure grounds are well-maintained, including landscaping tasks and common area upkeep.
Emergency Response: Provide after-hours emergency maintenance as needed.
Tool and Inventory Management: Maintain a well-organized inventory and order supplies as necessary.
Safety Oversight: Conduct safety inspections, ensuring adherence to codes and regulations.
Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with third-party vendors for specialized tasks.
Documentation: Keep meticulous records of maintenance activities, inspections, and purchases.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest maintenance techniques and property standards.
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a maintenance technician, in multifamily properties.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in various property systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
Excellent communication skills.
Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
Unit turns and punch list experience and efficiency.
Must be able to lift 60 pounds at a time, work independently and as a team, must be reliable, must have reliable transportation, and must be available for emergency calls.

Job Type: Part-time-Full-Time
Pay: Competitive and based on experience.
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
Schedule: Standard Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM but can include the following.
Evenings as needed
Evening shift
Extended hours
Holidays
Night shift
On call
Weekends as needed
Experience:
Maintenance: 5+ years (preferred)
EPA certified required.
Landscape: preferred
Unit Renovations: Painting, flooring, plumbing, electrical required.
