Janitor Job Responsibilities:
Washes windows and mirrors.
Takes out the trash and recycling.
Wipes down and sanitizes surfaces.
Cleans, sanitizes, and stocks restrooms.
Follows instructions from the team lead.
Sweeps, mops, polishes, and vacuums floors.
Uses common cleaning tools.
Organizes the janitor closet and stores all supplies and tools.
Fills out janitorial checklists at the end of every shift.
Locks the doors at the end of night shifts.
Follows safety rules and precautions.
Adheres to company policies and procedures.
Work Hours: We are currently looking for a part-time janitor to work 2-3 evenings a week. This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking for a second job or supplemental income. Starting pay: $12/hour.
Janitor Qualifications and Skills:
Works well independently and has strong time management skills.
Follows written and verbal instructions from the team lead.
Collaborates with other janitors and maintenance workers as needed.
Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing and walking for most of the shift, bending, climbing, and lifting at least 50 pounds.
