Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are offering an immediate employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in the service industry close to Lookout Valley, Georgia. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will contribute to our team by performing a variety of tasks related to account coding, accounting software systems, and enterprise resource planning.Responsibilities: Accurately process all credit applications from customers. Keep customer credit records up to date and accurate. Handle customer inquiries and resolve them in a timely manner. Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required. Ensure accurate account coding for all transactions. Proficiently use accounting software systems for various tasks. Perform check runs to ensure timely payment of invoices. Approve invoices after thorough verification. Conduct both 3 way and 2 way match to confirm invoice details. Utilize accounting and ERP systems for efficient accounts payable management. Oversee auditing tasks and maintain Automated Clearing House (ACH) operations. Requirements Proven experience in Accounts Payable processing Proficiency in Account Coding Experience with Accounting Software Systems is mandatory Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Ability to manage all Accounting Functions Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) Experience in Auditing Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactionsAll candidates must undergo drug and background screening for consideration Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
