This role is for testing desktop applications including integrations with cloud services. QA Engineers collaborate in an Agile environment with fellow QA Engineers, Software Engineers, and others on projects that impact multiple applications and business solutions. They are excellent communicators with a strong understanding of the SDLC and associated methodologies. You will excel as a Sage QA Engineer if you are self-motivated and enjoy creating new ways to accomplish project goals and meet deadlines.Sage is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Sage 50 product delivery team in - Lawrenceville, GA.Key Responsibilities: Demonstrate ability to learn and train others in product area, QA tools, and general QA functions Create test strategies and plans for project deliverables based on business and technical requirements as well as personal and team knowledge Execute tests based on test plans and/or checklists Conduct quality assurance activities on policies, procedures, standards and features assigned Complete ambiguous tasks with minimal guidance and support Communicate verbally and in writing with team members and management on product issues Proactively communicate to team any risks, design and quality issues, or increases in scope/time required Accurately report progress on goals Support team members and decisions Understand, acknowledge, and support change within the organization and processes Proactively seek innovation to improve products, process and our working environment Create extraordinary customer experiences and exhibit Sage values Demonstrate a solid understanding of the SDLC and associated methodologies Support Quality Culture Protect company proprietary and confidential informationQualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other technical field or equivalent experience preferred 2+ years Quality Assurance experience Experience with accounting, business management and/or bookkeeping processes preferred Experience with testing web applications and web API’s is a plus General understanding of multiple platforms and operating systems Ability to use virtualization tools Ability to write clear and precise defect reports Ability to translate design specs and requirements into test cases and/or checklists with expected results Capable of reporting test details to peers and management Able to provide feedback on overall product quality Willing and able to make credible decisions for the QA discipline Knowledge of or some experience with web or desktop test automation is a plusFunction:ProductCountry:United StatesOffice Location:LawrencevilleLocation Region
