Maintenance Technician II - 2nd shift

Preventative and Reactive maintenance as needed throughout the facility including facilities maintenance. Responsible for maintaining state of the art automated and semi-automatic electro-mechanical production equipment used in the manufacture of prescription lenses including CNC grinding and polishing, clear coat application, and final milling and finishing of custom lens shapes.Responsible for maintaining all maintenance-related software programs such as PM logs, material acquisition logs, etc. in whatever maintenance software programs are used in the Facility.Responsible for securing machine parts at the lowest cost.  Communicates with various Help Desks (foreign and domestic) to fix various machines.Fabricates systems and machines to make production easier or of better quality.Suggests procedure changes to improve department efficiency.Follows all safety rules and protocols rigorousl
